In a well-written, well-organized, 1000-1250 word essay (approximately 4-5 pages), answer the
following question:
During the late nineteenth century and early twentieth century there were many African
American Civil Rights organizations founded to combat racism and fight for Civil Rights. What
were some of these organizations, what were their missions and who were some of the most
influential leaders of these organizations? Also discuss how successful any of these
organizations were in the first half of the twentieth century. (IN YOUR ESSAY ONLY FOCUS
ON THE TIME PERIOD OF 1896-1945). National Association of Colored Women’s Club
(NACWC), NAACP, National Urban league, National Negro Business League, Universal Negro
Improvement Association (UNIA) and the African Blood Brotherhood are some of the
organizations that you can look at. Please for this particular essay write on at minimum two of
